Palworld Lotus Flowers: All Types and How to Get Them

Lotuses are the key ingredient in Remedies and Elixirs, those potions that permanently boost your trainer's stats. Classified as "Legendary" items, they're among the rarest loot in the game. There are five types, each linked to a stat and identifiable by the color of its flower. Here's how to identify them all and farm them efficiently.

The five types of Lotus

Each Lotus fuels the Remedy and Elixir for a specific stat. Spot them by their color:

Small or Large: two sizes not to mix up

Each Lotus comes in two formats, shown in parentheses next to its name in the inventory: Small (S) and Large (L).

This distinction is crucial, as it determines what you'll be able to craft. (S) Lotuses are used to prepare Remedies (minor boost), while (L) Lotuses, much rarer, are reserved for Elixirs (major boost). You can't substitute one for the other: to get the best bonuses, you'll absolutely need Large Lotuses.

Where to find Lotuses

Lotuses grow exclusively in dungeons, those hidden caves in cliffs where you have to fight a boss. The good news is that every dungeon contains at least one. The boss room, at the very back, always holds one or two plants: that's where you should focus your search.

Note

Be careful though: (L) Lotuses only appear in high-level dungeons, starting at level 60. No point hoping to gather them in early-game caves.

Finally, certain raid bosses, such as Blazamut, can also drop Lotuses once defeated - a welcome bonus source when you're already fighting them for other rewards.

The trick to farming in bulk

Since Lotuses are extremely rare, it's best to optimize every run. There's a technique to reset a room without leaving the dungeon: enter the room, spot and collect the Lotus, then head back toward the dungeon exit and retrace your steps before defeating the final boss. The room respawns, letting you chain harvests without having to restart the entire dungeon.

Combined with exploring level 60+ dungeons, this method remains the most reliable way to stockpile Large Lotuses in bulk.

Our tips

Since Lotuses are scarce, adopt a simple habit: pick up every Lotus you come across, even if its stat doesn't interest you right away. You'll always end up needing one eventually, and nothing is more frustrating than being short a single Lotus when crafting an Elixir.

Finally, bring along a solid combat Pal to clear dungeons quickly: the more you complete, the bigger your Lotus stockpile grows. With a bit of method, you'll have plenty to permanently transform your trainer.
