Palworld Corrosive Solvent: Recipe and Ingredients

Corrosive Solvent is a mid-game material in Palworld that unlocks some genuinely useful late-game crafts - Meteor Launcher, Katana, and the Pal Surgery Table, among others. The recipe is simple on paper: one Poison Gland, and one Sulfur. But gathering these two resources takes time if you don't know where to look. Here's how to speed up the loop.

Unlocking the recipe at level 37

Open the Technology window and search for "corrosive solvent" - the recipe appears in the level 37 row. Spend your technology points to unlock it, then head to a workbench to start crafting.

Technically, any workbench will do. But if you want to industrialize production - and frankly, you'll need a lot of it, so don't hold back - set up a Production Line. It runs faster, continuously, and doesn't require you to be there every time. The only requirement: electricity. Set up Generators and assign Electric Pals to them.

Getting Poison Glands

Poison Glands drop from Poison-type Pals. The most accessible early-farm method: the island west of Ravine Entrance, not far from Startle Hill. At night, Cawgnitos and Depressos roam around in reasonable numbers. Kill them or capture them - both give materials.

Tip

If you capture a Pal and then skin it with a Butcher Knife, you double the drops. It's a bit questionable morally, but it works.

For a passive source, head to Feybreak and capture a Caprity Noct (level 55). Assign it to a Ranch at your base - it will produce Poison Glands automatically, without you having to go out hunting. This is clearly the most comfortable option once you have the means to access it.

Getting Sulfur

Sulfur is found in volcanic areas, in large mineable deposits. The most profitable spot mentioned in the source: the volcano west of Startle Hill. Be careful, it's hot there, really hot. Without heat-resistant armor, your health bar will take a beating.

Another option: the dungeons past Ravine Entrance regularly contain Sulfur. That's great if you want to stack up loot and materials in a single session.

And if you want to automate this too, the Sulfur Mine recipe unlocks at level 46 for Ancient Technology Points. Set one up at your base and let it run.

What is Corrosive Solvent used for?

It's a cross-cutting ingredient for several high-level crafting recipes:

Note that Sulfur is also used to craft Gunpowder for your ammunition. If you play a lot with firearms, plan generously on your Sulfur stock - it runs out fast when you need to feed both corrosive solvent production and your armory at the same time.
