In brief

The Palworld Arena is the heart of player-versus-player and player-versus-NPC combat: 4v4 clashes where trainer and three Pals face off to climb the ranks and unlock spheres, legendary weapons and accessories. Accessible on an island off the desert biome, it offers two distinct modes: PvE with rank progression and growing rewards, and fully customizable PvP to settle scores with other trainers on the server.

The Arena in Palworld is the place where you fight 4 vs 4 battles: each side fields one trainer and three Pals. You can challenge NPC trainers there for rewards (PvE mode), or other players on your server (PvP mode). Here's how to get there, what you can win, and how to spend your winnings.

Where to find the Arena

The Arena is located on a small island off the southern coast of the desert biome. The closest fast travel point is Eastern Wild Island; once on the Arena island, you'll also unlock your own fast travel point there. Since you'll need to cross the sea, bring along a swimming or flying Pal (a Shadowbeak, for example). No minimum level is required, but the challenges demand you be at the top of your game.

PvE mode rewards

In PvE, you climb the ranks, from Bronze up to Legend, based on your performance. Each tier offers increasingly powerful spheres with every win, a batch of Battle Tickets, and a generous bonus on your first clear:

Rank Sphere (recurring) First-time bonus
Bronze Giga Sphere 20 Giga Spheres + 5 Tickets
Silver Hyper Sphere Pistol blueprint + 10 Tickets
Gold Ultra Sphere Heat-resistant refined metal armor blueprint + 15 Tickets
Platinum Legendary Sphere Rocket launcher blueprint + 20 Tickets
Diamond Ultimate Sphere 5 Resurrection Potions + 25 Tickets
Master Exotic Sphere 100 Tickets
Legend Ancient Sphere 200 Tickets

The Arena is therefore an excellent source of spheres if you're short on materials to craft your own.

Where to spend your Battle Tickets

Your Tickets can be exchanged with the Arena Merchant, right at the entrance. His stall offers a wide selection: legendary weapon blueprints, support whistles, Pal Implants, stat fruits and Mastery Fruits, as well as cosmetic hats.

PvP mode

The Arena also lets you challenge your friends and other players on your server. Before the duel, you can adjust the battle settings to balance the fight: enable Level Sync to put all trainers on equal footing, set Pal bans, and adjust damage multipliers between Pals and players.

To start a battle, participants simply need to interact with the Arena gate, exactly as when joining a friend for a tower boss fight. This turns the Arena into a training ground... or a battlefield to determine the best trainer on the server.
