Heartopia is a charming life simulation where exploration, passions, and its seasonal events fill the days of its inhabitants. The Rainbow Event, a rare and time-limited event that only appears occasionally, is active for just a few hours in the real world. That's why, if you want to be ready to make the most of it, this guide will explain the essentials of what you need to know!

How the Rainbow Event Works in Heartopia
To find out if the Rainbow Event is active, simply open your in-game Watch. A rainbow icon appears to show you that the event is ongoing, as well as the days when the next rainbow will be visible. The event only triggers exceptionally under certain weather conditions.
You have the opportunity to receive special bonuses during the event, which will also allow you to receive exclusive items that can't be found on regular days.
During Rainbow Events in Heartopia, you can find the location of Doris, the specialized Rainbow vendor.
Doris is a traveling NPC only present during the Rainbow Event. On normal rainy days, she's located at various spots around town, but during a Rainbow Event, she's been spotted at Onsen Mountain, or near the bridge on Forest Island.
Doris's shop offers many time-limited items. Among these items are colored sugars like Yellow and Indigo, needed for the special Rainbow Roll Cake recipes, as well as a unique Rainbow Emote, priced at 2,000 coins as part of the Event. You can also buy postcards there.

Another major feature of this event concerns the Rainbow Bouquets. Three floating rainbow bouquets can be picked up during the event, each resembling a four-leaf clover featuring the colors of the rainbow.
A Rainbow Bouquet grants a 30-minute bonus for you and nearby members: it increases the star ratings (rarity) of Fishing, Cooking, Bug Catching, as well as other passions.
Tip
Watering your plants during this period can also yield Rainbow Powder.
The three bouquets can be found at the following locations:
- Outside your house.
- On Onsen Mountain, on top of a climbable rock.
- On Onsen Mountain.
Plan your activities around these bonuses to make the most of them, they stack easily.

How to Make the Most of the Rainbow Event in Heartopia
The Rainbow Event is one of the best opportunities to gather materials more efficiently. The Ancient Trees scattered across the four corners of the main town drop rare wood and double it during the event, which reflects the Rainbow Bouquet bonus.
Gathering resources like ore rocks, berry bushes, or Black Truffles is even more rewarding than usual and favorable during the Rainbow Event. This period is perfect for gathering crafting or cooking materials. Black truffles are particularly interesting, we explain how to find them here.
Note
Rainbow Days also increase the spawn chances of certain rare fish like the Butterfly Carp in Meadow Lake.
