Disney Dreamlight Valley Skunks: How to Feed Them
In brief
Discover how to tame and feed skunks in Disney Dreamlight Valley's Wishblossom Ranch expansion. These adorable creatures can be found in Dazzle Beach... wait, in Ravishing Ravine, and require a delicate approach based on watching their tail to approach them without scaring them off.
The skunks are among the cute little critters you can come across in the Wishblossom Ranch expansion of Disney Dreamlight Valley. These adorable little animals first need to be approached with care in order to have a chance of taming them. Find out how to approach them, what to feed them, and turn them into allies in your adventures!

Where to meet skunks in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Skunks only roam the Enchanted Ravine region. This picturesque area, located well to the northwest of the ranch, features different kinds of skunks, each with their own little corner of paradise. To meet them all, you'll need to search through the area's four biomes, keeping in mind that you'll only find one type of skunk per zone (yes, otherwise it would be too easy!):
- Podium River
- Cashmere Parks
- Fashion Swamp
- Haute Couture Plateau

How to approach a skunk
Getting close to a skunk takes time and observation. The technique to use with skunks, unlike with other creatures, is the red light, green light method, as explained in the following steps:
- Watch the skunk's tail carefully
- When the tail is raised, stop moving
- When the tail is lowered, walk calmly forward
- Repeat the process until you reach the animal
Note
This usually takes four to five stops before you can safely approach it. If you don't stay still while the tail is raised, it will flee and you'll have to start all over again, so patience is key to pulling this off!

What skunks eat
To really get to know skunks, one of the things to know before you start is their favorite food; their favorite dish is the Pincushion Peach, a rare kind of fruit that only grows on certain trees in the Enchanted Ravine region.
But if you don't have any Peaches on hand, they also like:
- Eggs
- Cheese
- All types of fruits
- All types of vegetables
Note
Be careful, these foods are only liked, not loved like Pincushion Peaches.

The various skunk varieties and their schedules
At Wishblossom Ranch, five different skunk varieties live side by side, each with its own behaviors and hours of appearance:
