The mounts of Wishblossom Ranch
In the Wishblossom Ranch expansion, five unique mounts make their appearance. Here is the complete list:
- The Wishblossom horses: these customizable mounts are the ones you'll obtain first. Their special ability? Pushing heavy objects.
- Maximus: Rapunzel's noble steed, capable of performing great jumps.
- Khan: Mulan's faithful steed, capable of breaking certain barriers.
- Pegasus: the mythical creature will let you fly over certain obstacles.
- Sven: the reindeer from Frozen, exclusive to the Deluxe edition of the expansion.
How to get horses with customizable design
The first mount you'll obtain will be a horse with a customizable design, obtained shortly after your arrival at Wishblossom Ranch, during one of the first quests. To unlock other horses with customizable design, you'll need to complete a Snow White mission, during which you'll learn to craft « Stable Repair Kits ». Once this mission is complete, you'll be able to craft these kits regularly to upgrade the stable in the Wishblossom Ranch region, which will let you unlock more horses with customizable design.
Unlocking Maximus
The charming horse from the movie Tangled, Maximus, is trapped in the Wishblossom of Hope. You'll be able to free him and thus unlock him as a mount, through one of the “Crystal Cavern” missions. So wait until you've reached the end of this mission to be able to ride this beautiful horse.
Note
Before starting the quest in question, you'll first need to complete certain preliminary missions, then, once these steps are done, you'll finally be able to go looking for Maximus.
The ability to make long jumps will let you cross gaps to reach areas you couldn't have reached otherwise.
Meeting Khan
Khan, Mulan's faithful steed, is imprisoned in the Wishblossom of Ambition. To free him, you must complete the quest “Crystal Caverns: Ravishing Ravine”. You'll meet him after breaking the three crystals scattered throughout the cave and after a conversation with the Wishblossom of Ambition at the end of this quest.
Khan's special ability to break certain barriers is necessary to progress in this region and reach new territories.
The mysterious Pegasus
Pegasus is the third mount you'll gain access to by following the main story. The legendary winged horse can be unlocked as soon as you reach the Pixie Acres region. His ability to fly will send you to elevated areas, and through this you'll see that certain obstacles, impassable for other mounts, can be easily bypassed.
Sven, the Deluxe exclusive
Sven won't be unlockable by progressing through the story, but only via the Deluxe edition of the Wishblossom Ranch expansion. Included in the Deluxe edition are Sven as a mount, but also four rewards and a unique Dream Style.
