Disney Dreamlight Valley Honey Macarons: How Do You Make This 4-Star Recipe?
In brief
Honey Macarons are a must-have 4★ dessert for unlocking Piglet in Disney Dreamlight Valley. Only four ingredients are needed, but watch out: golden honey requires respecting a 10-minute timer, and sweet jelly requires fishing in the blue ripples of Wildwood Grove — a bit finicky, but something you'll quickly master.
Honey Macarons is a 4★ dish to prepare in order to unlock Piglet in Disney Dreamlight Valley. Four ingredients are all it takes - but one of them depends on a 10-minute timer, and another on a somewhat finicky fishing mechanic. Here's how to get straight to the point.
The full recipe
Toss (not too hard) into any cooking station (with charcoal):
- Golden Honey
- Sweet Jelly
- Chestnut
- Any grain (wheat, barley, rice, etc.)
Three of the four ingredients are directly tied to Honeyglow Woods. That's the area to prioritize mastering.
Golden Honey - the timer to keep in mind
Golden Honey comes from the Bee House. The rule is simple: the more flowers you have around the hive, the faster it produces. With the maximum number of flowers planted, one honey pot becomes available every 10 minutes. The house can store up to six pots.
Tip
Remember to water the surrounding flowers regularly - they can dry out and slow down production. If you play in short sessions, check the hive every time you log in.

Sweet Jelly - fishing the blue ripples
Sweet Jelly is fished from the blue ripples in Honeyglow Woods. The problem: they don't always appear. The trick to forcing them to spawn is to fish in the other (non-blue) ripples to increase the chances of a blue one generating.
Note
If no blue ripple appears despite this, switch biomes and then come back - spawns reset between areas. We'll admit it's annoying, but it's still quick once you get the hang of it.
Chestnut - farming in the Sleepy Acres
Sweet chestnuts grow on specific trees in Honeyglow Woods, mainly in the Sleepy Acres. Respawn time is around 30 minutes - harvest everything, do something else, then come back.
An additional tree becomes accessible in the Forgotten Lands, but under one condition: you must open up the area and complete an Eeyore quest. It's worth it if you farm this recipe regularly.
Grains - wheat, the fastest option
For the grain ingredient, you have a lot of leeway. Any grain will do. But if you want to move quickly:
- Wheat - seeds available directly at the Honeyglow Woods stall. Minimal growth time. The obvious choice if you're already in the area.
Other options, if you'd rather diversify or use up existing stock:
- Barley - seeds in The Bookbinding
- Elysian Grain - Goofy's stall in Mythopia
- Fae Rye - seeds in Everafter
- Fae Kamut - seeds in the Wishblossom Ranch mountains
- Oats - seeds in the Storybook Vale
- Pearl Barley - seeds in the Wishblossom Ranch mountains
- Rice - seeds in the Bayou of Trust

Recommended order of priority
Start Golden Honey production first: it's the only ingredient constrained by a timer. During the 10-minute wait, fish for the sweet jelly and harvest the chestnuts. Buy or plant the wheat while you're at it. You'll have everything in under 15 minutes if the hive is well set up and the blue ripples cooperate.
