The Grilled Picnic Sandwich is a 5★ dish required in the The Gloomy Hollow quest to unlock an obstacle. No exotic prerequisites, and the good news is that all the ingredients can be found in Honeyglow Woods. No need to cross half the map.

The 5 recipe ingredients

Head to any cooking station and combine:

• Golden Honey
• Parsnip
• Any Protein - dairy product, oil, or protein of your choice
• Tree Resin
• Any Spice - any spice or herb

Five ingredients, for a five-star meal. The game doesn't specify a precise variant for the proteins and spices, which leaves some flexibility if you're missing a particular item.

Where to find each ingredient

Golden Honey - Get it from the Bee House, the hive in Honeyglow Woods. It can store up to 6 jars of honey. The more flowers you place around the house, the faster production goes: with the maximum number of flowers, expect about 10 minutes of waiting time.

Tip

If you need honey quickly, start by optimizing the hive before looking for the other ingredients.

Parsnip - Buy parsnip seeds at the Honeyglow Woods stall, but it must first be unlocked by turning in the Shopping List. Once the stall is unlocked, you also get access to milk - which directly covers your protein need in the recipe above. Plant the seeds, harvest, and you're done.

Tree Resin - Two options for getting it in Honeyglow Woods:

• Dig the ground with the shovel to find some.
• Destroy the resin rocks with the pickaxe - only available after completing Eeyore's quest chain and upgrading the royal tool.

If you haven't done Eeyore's quests yet, which seems logical at this stage, the shovel remains your only option. It's less efficient, but it works.

Any Protein - The fastest solution: milk, bought directly at the Honeyglow Woods stall. But if you have something else on hand, that works too:

• Butter, cheese, egg - From Remy
• Feta, Shovelbird Eggs - at the Bookbinding stall
• Plain Yogurt - at the Fairytale County stall
• Olives - gathered from olive trees in Mythopie
• Peanuts, beans - seeds purchasable in other biomes

In the context of this quest, keep it simple: milk from the Honeyglow Woods stall is the shortest path.

Any Spice - Garlic grows in abundance in Honeyglow Woods, so it's the most logical choice if you want to avoid leaving the area. For other spices, there's no shortage of options depending on what you already have in stock:

• Basil - Peaceful Meadow
• Cumin - Ancient Port
• Ginger - Forgotten Lands
• Mint - Frosted Heights
• Paprika - Glittering Dunes
• Oregano - The Plaza

If you already have a spice in your inventory, use it. No need to make a detour... Once you have all the ingredients, head to a cooking station, and that's it!
