The Forest Quiche is a 5-star dish needed to progress in the Honeyglow Woods expansion of Disney Dreamlight Valley. Before you dive in, make sure you've unlocked Mooncradle - without it, one of the five ingredients will be inaccessible. The rest of the gathering is mostly centered around Sunlit Woods, so there's no need to run all over the valley.

The five ingredients of the Forest Quiche

Five slots, two flexible, three fixed. Here's what you need:

• A fish (any kind)
• A dairy product
• A juniper berry
• A truffle
• A golden pattypan squash

The fish: any will do

No specific species is required. If you're playing in Sunlit Woods, fish there directly - it's more convenient to gather everything in the same spot. Otherwise, whatever's lying around in your inventory works: perch, salmon, cod, tuna... it doesn't matter.

The dairy product or oil: the simplest option

The fastest option: buy milk directly from the Sunlit Woods stall. Otherwise, several alternatives are available:

• Milk, Butter, Egg, Cheese, Peanut - to buy at Chez Remy
• Canola - seeds available in the Forest of Valor
• Soybean - seeds available at Sunlit Plateau
• Tree Resin - to dig up or gather from resin rocks in Sunlit Woods

Note

If you're already in Sunlit Woods for the other ingredients, milk from the local stall is clearly the most efficient choice.

The juniper berry: head to Mooncradle

This is the ingredient that comes with a prerequisite. The juniper berry grows as a large green bush in Mooncradle. One harvest yields four berries. The bushes regrow after 25 minutes, so there's no point waiting around - go collect the rest.

The truffle: pick it up off the ground in Sunlit Woods

The truffle spawns directly on the ground in Sunlit Woods. It's a purple ingredient, visible during normal exploration. You can't miss it if you wander around the area.

The golden pattypan squash: buy the seed, then wait

Once the Sunlit Woods stall is unlocked, buy a golden pattypan squash seed for 50 coins. Plant it, water it - potentially twice - and wait about 20 minutes to harvest the vegetable. Nothing complicated, but factor this delay into your planning if you're in a hurry to finish the quest.

Cooking and result

Gather the five ingredients, then head to any cooking station in the valley. Combine everything, and the Forest Quiche appears. The dish counts as a 5-star meal, so it's also worth a few coins if you decide to sell the surplus after finishing the quest.
