About Clash of Clans
Clash of Clans is the mobile strategy game that turned Supercell into a giant of the industry. The concept comes down to two actions: build your village and protect it behind walls, mortars and wizard towers, then raise an army of barbarians, archers and dragons to go raid other players' villages.
The whole balance of the game rests on this back-and-forth between building and attacking. Every upgraded building costs time, gold and elixir; every successful raid brings back enough to speed things up. Clans, up to fifty members, provide the social layer that made the title's success: troop donations, two-stage clan wars — preparation day then attack day — and seasonal War Leagues.
Released in August 2012 on iOS then a year later on Android, Clash of Clans is still being updated more than ten years later, with new town hall levels, the builder base, heroes and their equipment, and an official competitive scene crowned by the Clash of Clans World Championship.
