Stones Keeper: King Aurelius

Turn-based strategy game released in 2022 and developed by the small studio SK Team. You take command of the Order of the Griffin during the final days of King Aurelius: recruiting companions, managing the castle, tactical battles and a scripted campaign. SK Team presents it as the free prequel to the main campaign of Stones Keeper.

The comparison that comes to mind is Heroes of Might and Magic, but Stones Keeper embraces a more modest scale and a tighter pace: no sprawling resource gathering, short encounters, a clear hero progression.

The game leaves the Steam store on September 14, 2026, the day SK Team releases the free 2.0 "Director's Cut" update for the paid Stones Keeper. It remains playable for anyone who has added it before then. No French translation is offered: the interface and texts are in English, German, Russian, Polish, Turkish, Hungarian, Brazilian Portuguese and Simplified Chinese.
