Battlefield 6: Update 1.2.3.5 has arrived, what's new?

Battlefield 6, one of DICE studio's biggest hits, keeps up its update pace with patch 1.2.3.5, rolled out this May 2026. The studio is essentially focusing on gameplay stability and camera smoothness, in light of player feedback centered on unwelcome framerate drops and jerky visual transitions that were bothering them. While this isn't a revolution in terms of new content, this major polish pass adds depth to more immersive matches right from the start.

Among the highlights, the studio already notes strong optimizations to the camera presentation, avoiding those frustrating moments where the screen seems to glitch out in the middle of action. Stability also improves the game experience with under-the-hood fixes that should hopefully reduce the numerous crashes, particularly in multiplayer. This patch follows the previous patch from March (1.2.1.5), which already worked on fixing fairly similar bugs that in no way disrupted the smoothness of action on the battlefield, such as unnatural camera transitions despite the interface's responsiveness.

Battle Royale regulars will be pleased with these tweaks to spawns and gadget interactions, while the UI has gained in responsiveness with faster menu loading times. Likewise, there's no new map or arsenal for now, however, we're still expecting something big for Season 3. If you were dealing with sloppy revives or poorly attached gas masks, that's now a thing of the past. Battlefield 6 once again proves that DICE listens to its community, even after 10+ patches.
