DICE
About
DICE (EA Digital Illusions CE AB), a Swedish video game development studio, was created in 1992 in Växjö by four former members of the demogroup The Silents. DICE is established in Stockholm, where it has remained for over 30 years, and has been a subsidiary of Electronic Arts since 2006.
The studio has notably made a name for itself with successful franchises such as "Battlefield" (including "Battlefield 1942" and "Battlefield 2042"), "Mirror's Edge" (an action game inspired by parkour and a flagship title of the studio) and "Star Wars: Battlefront".
DICE has also developed the Frostbite graphics engine within its Frostbite Labs division.
