Monster Hunter Wilds Ascendance: boosted Dual Blades on the menu

Capcom is releasing a new Boosted Action Breakdown for Monster Hunter Wilds's Ascendance expansion, this time focused on the Dual Blades. Two minutes that make you want to dive back into Demon mode, with an arsenal that's clearly been reworked.

The trailer highlights three main points: an "unrelenting demonic barrage", in other words an even more punishing flurry of hits in demon mode, reworked combo control to chain strikes with greater precision, and increased melee range. In the footage, combos flow with a fluidity that stands in stark contrast to the current version of the Dual Blades, which is more limited in reach and combo options.

This video follows the same format as the previous Boosted Action Breakdowns already released for other Wilds weapons: a short, gameplay-focused format, with no cutscene or narrative context. It reflects the overall logic behind Ascendance, which aims to refresh each weapon rather than add new ones.
