Vampire Survivors: Legacy of the Bloodmoon launches August 28, 2026

Announced in June for summer, the expansion Vampire Survivors: Legacy of the Bloodmoon now has a date: Friday, August 28, 2026. It dropped on August 21 in a trailer where Malice Bloodmoon drags the sign along on a rope. Only the DLC's Steam page is up, and poncle hasn't listed platforms, though its expansions usually launch the same day on consoles and mobile.

The French page announces more than 10 characters — Malice and Calogero Bloodmoon, Baal'Thasar, Ashtart, Sargon —, 16 weapons and evolutions including the Scarlet Needle, the Incineration and the Dark Firmament, and one stage, the Red Moon Manor, lair of the Order of the Red Moon. poncle promised in June a very large stage and 8 music tracks. The expansion's name has no official French label: it stays in English in the client.

One euro for all that

poncle is announcing around one euro, but the French price isn't yet showing on Steam: the Legacy of the Moonspell expansion, which it's meant to match, has already dropped to €1.09. The base game costs €4.99 and the most expensive expansion, Ode to Castlevania, tops out at €3.99. By the 28th, Moonspell will receive 7 new unlocks.
