Titanium is a lightweight but sturdy metal. That's why it's perfectly suited for underwater constructions. It's especially important for:

• Crafting tools.
• Building a base. 

Locating and harvesting titanium ore

The best way to gather titanium is to mine titanium ore. It comes in different sizes and can be found pretty much everywhere. It's easily recognizable by its golden color and crystalline shape, when you're in rocky areas.

Once you've spotted a deposit, approach it and interact with it to start mining, using the right mouse button to begin extraction. This requires two clicks for small sizes, and several for larger ones.

Tips

Continuously check your oxygen consumption and be careful around marine predators.

Collecting metal scraps

Less lucrative but also less dangerous, recovering and recycling metal scraps will also let you obtain titanium. They can be found in certain specific areas:

• Near shipwrecks,
• In abandoned bases.

Once you've accumulated enough metal scraps, you can convert them into titanium ore. Use the fabricator and select the recycling option to turn the scraps into titanium ore.
