Preparing to harvest

To harvest fibrous pulp, you'll need the survival multi-tool. If you don't have it yet, here's how to craft it:

Gather three pieces of titanium, which you'll easily find around your survival pod. Once you've acquired the titanium, head to your Fabricator to create the survival multi-tool. Once equipped, all that's left is to explore the different biomes, where fibrous pulp can be found this time in very specific corals, particularly gorgonian corals.

Harvesting techniques 

Use your survival multi-tool to strike the corals. First check that you're within range, then click the action button to harvest fibrous pulp. Storage should not be overlooked; use containers so you don't risk losing your resources during your explorations.
