Simpsons Season Monopoly GO!: the 2026 album guide
In brief
The Simpsons season on Monopoly GO! (June 3 - July 29, 2026) is much more than a simple album: it's a full-season event with a themed board, mini-games, and 189 stickers to unlock in order to get the exclusive Homer token. Between perishable Episode Sets, lucrative Partners, and strategic Wildcards, you need to know where to spend your dice to finish without opening your wallet.
Scopely has dropped its biggest crossover of the year on Monopoly GO!: an entire season dedicated to The Simpsons, co-produced with Hasbro and 20th Television Animation. The collaboration kicked off on June 3, 2026 and wraps up on July 29, 2026, giving players roughly eight weeks to rack up dice, packs and Springfield-themed rewards. A brand-new short film, Mr. Burns and Mr. Monopoly's Excellent Rivalry, serves as the official introduction to the season and sets the tone: rivalry between Mr. Monopoly and Mr. Burns, neon-yellow chaos and gags galore.
What makes this season special is that it's not just a new album: the board, Chance cards, mini-games and even the Railroad tiles have all been reworked in Springfield colors. Here's how to navigate it, and above all, how to finish the Monopoly GO The Simpsons album before the deadline hits.
A crossover season, not just an album
Unlike a standard album slotted into the middle of the calendar, the Simpsons season is a full-season event. Scopely describes it as one of the most comprehensive partnerships ever built for Monopoly GO!. In practical terms, players still find the game's usual structure (dice, tournaments, banners, album), but every building block has been repainted yellow:
- Springfield-themed board: the nuclear plant, Krustyland, the Simpsons' house, the entire setting reimagined in the Monopoly GO! style.
- Dedicated Chance cards: over 50 Simpsons cards, 5 of which were chosen through a community vote held just before launch.
- Springfield Monorail: replaces the classic Railroad tiles during the Shutdown and Heist modes.
- Bribe Wiggum: a mini-event triggered in Jail, where you try to bribe Chief Wiggum to earn bonus rolls (risk/reward mechanic).
- The Simpsons Run: a race-style mini-game on Free Parking, featuring a different character with each new Episode Set.
The message is clear: Scopely doesn't just want to sell an album, it wants you glued to the game every day for eight weeks. Every tile has a reason to be opened.
The Monopoly GO The Simpsons album at a glance
The new album, named "The Simpsons" in the client (the name is kept in English on the FR side, as are the stickers), follows the usual pattern but scaled up for the occasion:
- 21 sets of 9 stickers, for a total of 189 stickers.
- 29 Gold stickers, two more than the previous album — so the difficulty goes up slightly.
- 6 six-star stickers, to be confirmed visually in the app, but confirmed by community guides.
- Final reward: around 15,000 dice and an exclusive Homer Simpson token to unlock once the album is completed.
- Set 21 reward: around 1,500 dice and a shield.
The sets are progressive. The first seven (The Simpsons, Monopoly's Training Day, Friends & Family, Property of Ned Flanders, Taste of Springfield, The Pin Pal's New Pal, Maggie's Big Adventure) revolve around the family and everyday scenes; sets 8 to 14 introduce the secondary characters (Krusty, Moe, Flanders, Burns); sets 15 to 21 concentrate most of the rare stickers. Plan to tackle the second half with a good stock of dice in reserve, as that's where the pinch really kicks in.
Episode Sets: the two-week rhythm
Major new feature this season: Episode Sets. Every two weeks, a mini-album of 9 stickers appears alongside the main album, accompanied by:
- a brand-new Springfield board,
- a new playable character for The Simpsons Run,
- exclusive cosmetics (emojis, shields, avatars).
These Episode Sets are time-consuming and, above all, perishable: once their two-week lifespan is over, the stickers become unavailable. It's the classic trap of this kind of event — if you let an episode slip by, you lose the chance to complete it forever. Each Episode Set can be completed twice to claim extra reward tiers.
Rule number one this season: always prioritize the current Episode Sets over the main album. You have until July 29 for the album; the episodes only give you fourteen days.
Weekly banners: which tournaments give the most packs?
The season is packed with banner events (tournaments, races, partners) following one another every two to three days. Over the June 3 - July 29 window, you'll notably find:
- Simpsons Partners, Springfield Partners, Finale Partners — the Partners events, played in groups of four, are the ones that hand out the most gold sticker packs. Absolute priority if you're chasing gold.
- Springfield Racers, Radioactive Racers, Itchy & Scratchy Racers — the competitive tournaments, usually three days long, offer 4-star or even 5-star packs to the top 3.
- Mr. Burns' Treasures, Bart's Treasures, Krusty Adventures — solo-style mini-games, lighter on rewards but useful to fill the gaps between two big tournaments.
- Fortune Derby and Springfield Monorail Tournament — hybrid events that stack dice milestones and packs.
In terms of dice spent versus stickers earned, Partners remain the best source. Save as many dice as possible for those windows, and run the Racers in economy mode (bet low, finish the milestones without aiming for the podium if you're short).
Wildcard stickers and trading: the key to rare sets
The Wildcard stickers (wildcards) come back regularly as rewards from Partners and certain tournaments. They're used to convert one sticker into another of the same rarity, which lets you fill in the most painful gaps — typically the missing Gold stickers in sets 15 to 21.
Our concrete recommendations:
- Never spend a Wildcard sticker on a basic sticker. They're only worth it for blocking 4, 5, or 6-star stickers.
- Use community trading (the native in-app feature, time-limited trading sessions) for your duplicate stickers. Trading sessions traditionally multiply toward the end of the season, around mid-July.
- Join a Discord or Reddit trading group before early July: the more active the community, the faster you'll pick up gold duplicates.
How to finish the album before July 29
Here's the roadmap we recommend for intermediate players (those who play every day but don't spend real money):
- Until June 20: finish sets 1 to 10 without even thinking about it. They come naturally with Free packs and tournament rewards.
- From June 20 to July 5: focus on sets 11 to 17. Use Partners to hit Gold. Don't spend your Wild Stickers yet.
- From July 5 to 20: critical phase. Sets 18 to 21 = the majority of the 6-star ones. Switch over your Wild Stickers, push on the Finale Partners.
- From July 20 to 29: community trading explodes, this is the time to clean up your last gaps. Always keep 500-1,000 dice in reserve for one last High Roller if needed.
The golden rule: don't finish the album too early. If you complete Set 21 on July 10, you "lose" all the rewards from the following packs. Instead, spread the grind over the eight weeks.
Is it worth spending to complete it?
For a disciplined free-to-play value, the The Simpsons album is completable without spending, but you need to play nearly every day and make the most of every banner. Sticker Boom, Free Parking, and High Roller should be activated systematically during Partners events. If you start the season late (after June 20), paid packs become the adjustment variable — offers for a few euros including targeted Gold packs are often the best value to catch up.
However, watch out for the paid extra tokens and cosmetics: the real goal remains the Homer token, obtained for free by completing the album. Any spending that takes you further away from it (instead of bringing you closer) is a bad move.

The Simpsons season is undoubtedly one of the most generous in content since the launch of Monopoly GO!. It requires consistency more than a big budget: play every day, prioritize the Episode Sets, save your Wild Stickers for the Gold ones, and the Homer token will be yours before Springfield closes up shop on July 29.
