MONOPOLY GO! is the official mobile adaptation of the famous Monopoly by Hasbro, developed and published by Scopely under license. Released on April 11, 2023 on iOS and Android, the game very quickly became one of the most profitable gaming apps in the world, surpassing one billion dollars in revenue in less than a year.

The principle follows the spirit of the original board: roll the dice, move around the board, buy properties, build houses and hotels — but everything is played solo or against your friends asynchronously, on themed boards regularly renewed (Rome, Paris, Tokyo, Halloween, etc.). Each space triggers an action: piggy bank robbery mini-game, tax, wheel bonus, community event. An energy system limits the number of rolls per hour, encouraging regular returns.

The game stands out for its large-scale seasonal events (tournaments, quests, sticker albums to collect and trade among players), its very casual gameplay and its strong social emphasis. Free to play, it offers micro-transactions to speed up progression, buy extra dice rolls or unlock rare stickers.
