Blasterbug: Last Bug Standing!

Blasterbug: Last Bug Standing! is a free arena game where you play insects bombarding each other with grenades in undergrowth settings. Dotemu describes it as a collective "bomb 'em up": up to eight can play on the same machine, in versus or co-op, split-screen included. No online mode is offered.

It's an unusual release for the French publisher, best known for its reworks of old licenses entrusted to third-party teams. Here, Dotemu develops and publishes it itself, distributes it for free, and aims for the couch rather than the world rankings. The game was released on August 24, 2026 on PC, in French, without prior announcement.
