Craftopia mixes survival, crafting, and open-world action with a simple idea: pile up as many mechanics from other genres (farming, base building, combat, creature taming, magic, dungeon exploration) as possible into a single cooperative sandbox. Developed by Pocketpair even before the massive success of Palworld, the game embraces a jack-of-all-trades approach rather than a single, streamlined identity.

The title has been in Early Access on PC since 2020 and on Xbox since 2021, carried by a loyal community despite an up-and-down development. Its positioning targets players who enjoy dipping into several gameplay systems at once, rather than those looking for a hardcore, coherent survival experience like a Valheim or a Rust.
