MONOPOLY GO! Tycoon Racers July 15-19, 2026: Grab Everything
In brief
Tycoon Racers hits MONOPOLY GO! from July 15 to 19, 2026: four and a half days of team racing where every flag counts, every medal is up for grabs, and the rare Wild sticker rewards true grinders. This guide breaks down the mechanics, flag sources, how to build a serious team, and above all the explosive synergy with Rent Frenzy that triples your productivity.
Bring out the checkered flag: MONOPOLY GO!'s new Tycoon Racers event kicks off on July 15, 2026 at 5:00 PM ET (11:00 PM in Paris) and runs until July 19 at 7:55 PM ET (i.e., 1:55 AM on the 20th in Paris). Four and a half days of racing, flags to farm, and teammates to find, with sticker packs, dice batches, and, if you play well, a Wild Sticker that can unlock an entire album up for grabs. This guide is aimed at free-to-play players who want to maximize their rewards without pulling out their credit card: we'll break down the mechanics, the best sources of flags, team strategy, and above all the often underrated synergy with the Rent Frenzy side-event.
When, how, and why Tycoon Racers changes everything
Tycoon Racers is a co-op event that Scopely relaunches every two or three weeks in MONOPOLY GO!. You form a team of four players and go up against other teams of similar level on a track split into three consecutive races. Each race earns medals based on your final position (1st, 2nd, 3rd, or 4th), and at the end of the three races, the team with the most medals wins the grand prize.
The special feature of the July 15, 2026 edition: it overlaps with several powerful side-events (Rent Frenzy, rent tournaments, Poochies Playtime banner on the first two days) that multiply the opportunities to collect flags. In other words, if you're only planning to play seriously four days this month, pick these.
Understanding the mechanics: flags, dice, and medals
Flags, the real resource
Flags are the event's currency. You collect them by landing on flag spaces on the board, completing Quick Wins, hitting the reward tiers of daily tournaments, and through team gifts. It's the only resource that powers the race track's dice popper.
The dice popper
Once you have enough flags stashed away, you open the Tycoon Racers tab and roll three dice at once. Each roll costs a certain number of flags (usually 20 for the base roll, more if you push the multiplier). The sum of the three dice moves your car forward, and special combinations (doubles, triples) unlock extra turns and turn rewards to choose from among three packages.
Medals and the team podium
At the end of each race, your team receives medals based on its position. Races 1 and 2 hand out a base amount of medals, and race 3 doubles the stakes: that's where everything is decided. It's also the race where the final standings can flip completely, so don't burn through your flag reserves on day one.
The tip nobody gives beginners: the 3rd race pays out double the medals. Always keep a reserve of dice and flags for the final 48 hours, even if it means going easy on race 2 if you've already built up a bit of a lead.
Building a team of four that actually plays
The biggest mistake casual players make: letting the game auto-assign teammates. You end up with ghost accounts that never open the app, and you end up carrying the team on your own. On an event with 2,700 dice + a Wild Sticker for first place, that comes at a steep cost.
Where to find active teammates
- Your in-game MONOPOLY GO! friends: filter out those who send dice regularly, they're active players.
- Reddit r/MonopolyGoTrading and r/MonopolyGoFriends: "Tycoon Racers Team LFG" threads multiply in the 24h before each launch.
- Sticker trading Discord: several French-speaking communities organize teams according to your tycoon level (beginner / veteran).
- StickerHub: the community app offers a matchmaking tool for race events.
What to do if the event starts without a full team
If you haven't found anyone by 5:00 PM ET on July 15, it's not a disaster. You have about 24h of team formation phase before the races actually begin. Use this time to recruit, even if it means pausing your dice rolls above 1x so you don't waste them while searching.
The flag rush: where to farm them efficiently
Quick Wins: source #1
Ignoring Quick Wins during a Racers event is the most common mistake made by players who "farm without understanding". Every time a Quick Win offers flags as a reward, complete it before continuing to roll the dice. It's practically free gain.
Flag tiles on the board
During the event, certain tiles on the board hand out flags on every pass. So multiply your rolls with a high multiplier (x10 minimum, x50 or x100 if you're rich in dice) when you see the board is loaded with flag tiles. A simple rule: maximize the multiplier when you're 6, 7, or 8 tiles from a target, those are the most likely dice results.
Tournaments, daily gifts, and milestones
The leaderboard tournament running in parallel systematically offers flag packs at its milestones. Complete it as a secondary objective, not a main one: a few hundred points is often enough to make the time invested worthwhile. Don't forget the team gifts and daily shop chests either, which regularly contain free flags.
Big brother tip: open the app two or three times a day minimum, even for 60 seconds, just to clear Quick Wins and collect gifts. It sounds silly, but it's what makes the difference between a team that finishes 1st and one that scrapes by in 3rd.
Why Rent Frenzy is your best ally
Many guides list Rent Frenzy as a simple "side-event to do on the side". That's a mistake. During Tycoon Racers, Rent Frenzy is THE hidden booster: it adds Rent tiles to your board, which massively increases the cash recovered. This cash lets you keep rolling the dice at a high multiplier without going broke, and therefore cover more flag tiles each turn.
The winning sequence looks like this:
- Rent Frenzy activates (or is already active).
- You raise the dice multiplier to x10 or x20.
- You roll on friends' Rent tiles, collecting boosted cash.
- This cash lets you keep rolling at x10+ over dozens of consecutive turns.
- Each turn also picks up flags along the way.
Result: you accumulate three to four times more flags than someone playing at x1 "to save up". It's counterintuitive, but spending dice fast during Rent Frenzy + Tycoon Racers pays off more than it costs.
Race boosters: Lucky Rocket, Overload, Team Sprint
On the track, three team boosters return from event to event. Depending on the edition, only one, two, or all three may be present.
- Lucky Rocket: guarantees that the next roll will only give 4, 5, or 6 on each of the three dice. Benefit shared with the whole team. Use it at the highest possible multiplier to maximize the effect, and coordinate on the team Discord to avoid two players triggering it at the same time.
- Overload: choose an opposing team and slow them down significantly. Half of their points no longer count toward the race, the other half is used to break the effect. Trigger it early in a race to prevent an opponent from getting too far ahead.
- Team Spring: recharges collectively as you keep racing. Once full, it gives everyone a free roll with a random multiplier. Grab it early through lap rewards so it has time to charge.
Medal strategy: the plan across the three races
Race 1 (July 15-16)
Push hard from day one to gain a psychological edge. The teams that dominate Tycoon Racers are the ones that build a gap in the first 12 hours. Spend aggressively the dice you had stockpiled before launch.
Race 2 (July 17-18)
A management race. If you've taken the lead, play it light, save your flags and dice. If you're behind, hold onto 2nd or 3rd place without overinvesting: the 3rd race can turn everything around.
Race 3 (July 18-19)
Double medals. Empty your stocks: flags, dice, unused boosters. Coordinate Lucky Rockets with your teammates over the last 3-4 hours.
Beginner mistake to avoid: blowing everything on race 1 out of excitement, then having nothing left for race 3. You'll end up in 4th place even though you were in 1st after 12 hours.
Typical rewards: what to expect
Scopely doesn't always announce the exact list in advance, but Tycoon Racers milestones generally follow this structure:
| Final position | Typical reward |
|---|---|
| 1st team place | Large dice bundle (often around 2,700), a Wild sticker, a premium sticker pack |
| 2nd team place | Medium dice bundle (around 750), a sticker pack |
| 3rd team place | Small dice bundle (around 375), a basic sticker pack |
| Individual lap milestones | Sticker packs, dice, cash, bonus flags |
Don't take these figures at face value: they shift from one edition to another. The order of magnitude, however, has stayed stable for over a year.

Key takeaways
- Absolutely prioritize Quick Wins and flag tiles: they're your only resource for rolling the dice on the track.
- Find a team of four active players on Discord/Reddit before launch, not some random dead-weight team.
- The 3rd race pays out double the medals: save your flags for the last 48 hours, don't blow everything on day 1.
- Activate Rent Frenzy alongside it and push your multiplier to x10 or x20: spending fast pays off more than saving at x1.
- Coordinate team boosts (Lucky Rocket, Overload, Team Spring) on Discord to maximize medals without wasting them.
