In brief

On Thursday, August 6, 2026, two batches of free dice are waiting for you on MONOPOLY GO! via official links, but it's your stockpile of shovels that really matters for completing Barnyard Treasures. The dig event requires a minimum of 260 shovels across twenty levels, and none of them come from the dig itself — you have to collect them from Shear Winnings, Farm Express, and free sources.

Two free dice gifts are still open this Thursday, August 6, 2026 on MONOPOLY GO!: a batch of 60 dice valid until Friday, August 7 at 5:00 PM (Paris time) and a batch of 25 dice closing today at 8:12 PM. Both go through mply.io, Scopely's official redirect domain, and can only be claimed once per account.

On the board, three timers are running in parallel: the Barnyard Treasures dig event until Friday, August 7 at 7:00 PM, the solo banner Shear Winnings until the same time, and the Farm Express tournament, which ends tonight at 7:00 PM before a new tournament kicks off right after. All of this takes place under the Happy Harvest with Looney Tunes album, launched on July 29 and active until September 23, 2026.

The number that really matters today, however, is not the number of dice collected: it's your stock of pickaxes. Barnyard Treasures doesn't hand out a single one across its twenty levels, and you need at least 260 to get through it all. So every pickaxe has to come from Shear Winnings, the tournament, or free sources. Here is the exact breakdown, tier by tier.

Free dice links still valid on August 6, 2026

Four official links are still active as we publish this. The times below are converted to Paris time: English-language sources display them in US Eastern time, which is currently six hours behind us.

Three rules avoid 90% of disappointments. First, open the link from the phone where MONOPOLY GO! is installed: the link doesn't lead to a web page but to an in-game redirect, and it won't do anything on a computer. Second, each gift can only be claimed once per account: if the game shows that the reward has already been claimed, it means this account has already collected it, not that the link is dead. Finally, there is no code to type into the game — MONOPOLY GO! doesn't work like a promo-code game.

The Discord link from August 4, meanwhile, has indeed expired: it closed on Wednesday, August 5 at 9:59 PM, so there's no point looking for it on aggregators that still show it. Going forward, the internal IDs of today's gifts are explicit: they bear the mark of the official Discord and Scopely's YouTube channel. So these are the two channels, along with the Facebook page and the in-game news feed, to keep an eye on in order to catch the next batch before it expires.

Barnyard Treasures: 4,750 dice up for grabs, zero pickaxes to collect

Barnyard Treasures is the dig event for the Happy Harvest with Looney Tunes album. It started on Monday, August 3 at 7:00 PM and ends on Friday, August 7 at 7:00 PM, Paris time. Twenty levels, grids ranging from 4x4 to 7x7, hidden treasures to dig up with pickaxes, tough tiles that require two hits, and explosive rodents that clear several tiles at once.

The total distributed reaches 4,750 dice, including 2,000 on the last level alone. Added to this are four sticker packs (2 stars at level 4, 3 stars at level 8, 4 stars at level 12, 5 stars at level 20) and the Rooster Watch shield skin at level 18. A distinctive feature of this edition, and one that changes the whole planning approach: no level gives back picks. On several previous digs, part of the stake came back along the way; here, everything comes out of your own pocket.

The "total" column is the one to watch. It gives the theoretical perfect cost, assuming you never hit the wrong tile. In real life, between missed tiles and resistant tiles, you should budget for 350 to 400 picks to complete all twenty levels. Explosive rodents work the other way and can save around ten moves on the big grids, provided you trigger them in the right spot — that is, where their blast covers several unknown tiles at once, never in a corner that's already been cleared.

Shear Winnings and Farm Express: where the 311 picks fall

Shear Winnings is the current solo banner, running from Wednesday, August 5 at 7:00 PM to Friday, August 7 at 7:00 PM. It has 62 tiers for a total scale of 51,635 points, and pays out a maximum of 18,215 dice and 181 picks. Picks drop at tiers 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 13, 16, 21, 24, 27, 30, 36, 41, 45, 49, 53, 57 and 61, in increasing batches of 5 to 20.

The breakeven point is clear: reaching tier 30 costs 6,050 points and yields 79 picks, plus 2,940 dice along the way. In other words, with just 12% of the total scale you already secure 44% of the event's picks. Beyond that, the curve steepens sharply — tier 62 alone demands 11,875 points.

Farm Express, the one-day tournament, ends today at 7:00 PM. It features 40 tiers for 36,000 points, 5,240 dice, and 130 pulls, distributed across tiers 1, 3, 5, 7, 10, 12, 14, 17, 19, 21, 24, 26, 28, 31, 34, 37, and 40. Here too, the middle of the board is the sweet spot to stop at: tier 26 costs 9,200 cumulative points and grants 69 pulls, over half the total for a quarter of the scale. Tier 40, meanwhile, demands 8,500 points on its own — the classic tournament trap, only worth attempting if you're also chasing the leaderboard.

A new tournament starts immediately after, at 7:00 PM tonight, and will run until Friday, August 7. Its tiers haven't been published yet, but the mechanics remain the same, and it will be your last reserve of pulls before the dig closes.

How many pulls can you actually gather?

Let's do the math. Shear Winnings and Farm Express combined cap out at 311 pulls, plus the free sources that are often overlooked:

  • Quick Wins: the three daily tasks (roll a die, complete a Bank Heist, land on a company) each grant 4 pulls, for a total of 12 daily pulls, plus 30 dice and cash. They reset every day at 2:00 PM Paris time.
  • Free shop gift: available every 8 hours, it contains pulls as long as the dig is active. Three visits a day and it adds up quickly.
  • Tycoon Club: one visit every 24 hours, with pulls among the possible rewards during the event.

Over the two remaining days, by playing both tournaments and the banner up to tier 30, a player who spends nothing lands in the 250 to 300 pulls range. That's enough to comfortably aim for level 12 (132 cumulative pulls, 600 dice, and the 4-star pack) and push toward level 18 and its Rooster Watch shield (226 cumulative). Level 20 and its 2,000 dice remain achievable, but only if the dig goes smoothly and you don't waste anything on the 7x7 grids.

Thursday, August 6 boost schedule, Paris time

A boost doesn't trigger on its own: it activates when you open the game during its window, then runs for its own duration. Planning your sessions around it genuinely changes your yield.

BoostWindow (Paris)Duration
Builder's Bash (-50%)9:00 AM – 2:59 PM60 min
Cash Boost3:00 PM – 8:59 PM10 min
Cash Grab9:00 PM – 11:59 PM5 min
High Roller12:00 AM – 2:59 AM (night of the 6th to 7th)5 min

The slot you shouldn't miss is the morning one: a full hour of Builder's Bash at half price is the best time of day to advance your board without touching your dice reserve. The late-evening High Roller, meanwhile, is the only time when pushing the multiplier very high remains worthwhile for finishing a Shear Winnings tier.

Scoring points without draining your reserve

The two point events don't play out the same way. Shear Winnings runs on the

The tournament follows a different logic: you need to land on a train station, which randomly triggers a Shutdown or a Bank Heist. The mini-game score is then multiplied by your multiplier. Since the trigger is random, it's counterproductive to build it up very high "just in case": a moderate, steady multiplier is better, with a possible push in the final hour if you're chasing the leaderboard.

The plan for the day

First grab the two dice links before 8:12 PM for the shorter of the two. Follow up with the three Quick Wins for your 12 daily draws, then spend the morning Builder's Bash slot building. Push Farm Express up to level 26 before 7:00 PM, without going for level 40, and keep Shear Winnings as your main reserve up to at least level 30. This way you'll head into Friday with enough to finish Barnyard Treasures before it closes at 7:00 PM, shield included.

No Golden Blitz has been announced at this point in the season, and no new Partners Event has been scheduled since the previous one ended on July 29. This makes it an ideal window to capitalize on digging: it's currently the most cost-effective source of dice in the game relative to what it costs.

Frequently asked questions

Why don't the dice links work on my computer?
The mply.io links don't redirect to a web page, but directly into MONOPOLY GO! on your phone. They're unusable on a computer — open them from the phone where the game is installed.
The game says I've already claimed the gift, but I don't remember taking it.
Each link can only be claimed once per account. If the message appears, it means this account has already redeemed the reward, even if you no longer see it in your inventory. The link cannot be reactivated.
Do I need to enter a code in the game for the free gifts?
No, MONOPOLY GO! doesn't work with promo codes. The mply.io links do everything automatically — just open them from your phone and the gift arrives.
How many shovels are really needed for Barnyard Treasures?
The theoretical perfect cost is 260 shovels, but in an actual playthrough with missed and resistant tiles, you should plan for 350 to 400. Explosive rodents can save you about ten if you trigger them well.
Should you really aim for milestone 62 of Shear Winnings or milestone 40 of Farm Express?
No, that's a trap. Milestone 30 of Shear Winnings costs only 12% of the total scale but yields 44% of the shovels. Milestone 26 of Farm Express is similar — beyond that, the curve gets sharply steeper for little gain.

Key takeaways

  • Two free dice gifts are active: 60 dice until August 7 at 5:00 PM and 25 dice until August 6 at 8:12 PM, both via mply.io.
  • Barnyard Treasures gives zero shovels across its twenty levels, which forces you to actually plan for 350 to 400 shovels to complete it without a hitch.
  • Shear Winnings and Farm Express combine for a maximum of 311 shovels, with most of the yield concentrated before milestone 30 for each event.
  • Daily tasks (12 shovels per day), the free shop gift, and the Tycoon Club round out the budget at no cost.
  • Aiming for level 12 (132 cumulative shovels) is realistic within two days, but level 20 and its 2,000 dice is only feasible without any waste.
