Mina The Hollower Map: How to Unlock It

In Mina the Hollower, the map very quickly becomes an essential element for finding your way around the game's different environments. This article will show you how to obtain this map.

Locating Rhene

In order to unlock the map, you'll first need to cross paths with Rhene. Head to the Southern Outskirts, where she has been captured by Thorne's forces. Be ready to face several enemies mobilized to guard Rhene, as you'll need to take them down in order to help her. Once all your opponents are defeated, approach Rhene, who will ask you to heal her. Use the heal command to tend to her for the moment.

Helping Rhene Escape

After healing Rhene, you'll need to escort her through the building. If she panics and starts running around in all directions, eliminate the surrounding threats as a priority in order to reassure her. Once the area is secured, go back to her so she can follow you again. In the last room, you'll need to solve a puzzle by digging under walls to reach switches. This will unlock the path forward.

Reaching the Hollowers Guild

Once Rhene is saved, all that's left is to head to the Hollowers Guild. Rhene is waiting for you and offers new dialogue options, and by hitting the vines nearby, you'll meet Drillhardt, who offers upgrades for your character. The map is obtained by purchasing the Island map, which will cost you 500 Bones. You'll only be able to access the map within Mina's safe space, the Underlab.

Later in the game, you'll be able to buy an upgraded map. However, this map's priority isn't to display a more readable view of the environment, but rather to show you the progress of collectibles for each area you've been reluctant to fully explore; in fact, they'll probably still remain unfound.
