Crystallized Lizard Monster Hunter Stories 3: Where to Find It

In Monster Hunter Stories 3, a sub-quest called "In Search of a Crystallized Lizard" asks you to find... a crystallized lizard (logical, you might say!). Here's how to complete this quest.

The Crystallized Lizard Quest

It begins when you receive a request from a villager, north of Bergeval, who wants to be notified if you come across a living crystallized lizard. The quest can earn you great rewards:

• A Yukumo armor recipe
• 3000 experience points
• 700 points

Crystallized Lizard Location

The villager gives you a clue: crystallized lizards are found in heavily crystallized areas, but where exactly should you go to have a chance of finding one?

Surprisingly, the area indicated by the villager isn't in Canalta. If you've unlocked the Caravan point "Ashen Path: Entrance", you can access it easily via fast travel, otherwise be careful, as the area is populated with fearsome monsters.

Once at the campsite, head to the right of the clearing then go down the small slope. At the bottom, you'll see a crystallized lizard in the clearing. When the interaction icon appears, feel free to interact with the Crystallized Lizard to examine it more closely.

Return to Bergeval

Finding a Crystallized Lizard opens the way back to Bergeval, so head back to the man who gave you the quest. Hand him the lizard, and collect your rewards!
