In brief

Akepine is an essential resource in Arknights: Endfield, available in Côtoroche Passage at the Abandoned Trail with a maximum of 5 plants to harvest. Once Planting Technology is unlocked, you can cultivate this material indefinitely via specialized units to craft Industrial Explosives, which are needed to access hidden areas and treasures.

The Akepine is without a doubt one of the most sought-after materials in Arknights Endfield, and there are several ways to get your hands on it. Let's see how below!

Where to find Akepine in Arknights Endfield

The Côtoroche Passage region contains two dedicated spots where you can find Akepine. Both are located within the Abandoned Trail area. If you follow the main storyline, you'll automatically reach this region.

One of the spots can be reached by taking the lower path, in the northeastern part of the map. For the second spot, you need to head north. You can only collect a maximum of five plants from these same spots.

If you also want to farm Akepine, you need access to Planting Technology. Once Planting Technology is unlocked, you'll need a Seed Extraction unit and a Planting unit. After finding wild Akepine plants, they can be transferred to the extraction unit. This converts one plant into two seeds. The seeds can then be placed in the planting unit, which will convert them into Plants. So you'll get 2 Plants for every plant placed in the Seed Extraction unit.

Notes

The process can be repeated indefinitely for as long as you need Akepine. You'll also be able to plant Akepine at the Ecological Farm, but that comes later in Arknights: Endfield. You'll need to go through the Outpost quests for the Infra Station before you can get there.
