Infinity: HexaDome Tactics

Adapting a tactical board game into a video game is a tricky exercise. Infinity: HexaDome Tactics takes on the challenge by transposing the science-fiction universe of the wargame Infinity (with more than twenty years of history behind it) into a turn-based combat arena, in the style of XCOM or Into the Breach, but built for 1v1 confrontation.

The concept: build a roster of champions from the different factions of the board game, then face off in ranked PvP or friendly duel, or follow a solo narrative campaign that unlocks characters and cosmetics. The house specialty is the Trigger Tactic Cards and a system of secondary objectives tied to the arena's audience - fulfilling contracts for fictional sponsors, hyping up the crowd - to earn tactical cards that disrupt the classic positioning/cover/overwatch approach.

A title clearly aimed at fans of competitive turn-based tactics, rather than pure tabletop wargame enthusiasts.
