Infinity

Infinity is a science-fiction tabletop game franchise created by the Spanish studio Corvus Belli, known for its tactical miniature skirmish format and its dense universe, developed over more than 20 years.

The original game blends small squads, precise line-of-sight and cover rules, and lore centered on rival factions such as Haqqislam, PanOceania, Yu Jing, or Nomads, in a post-human future marked by artificial intelligences and cybernetic augmentations. Over the years, the franchise has been enriched with narrative supplements, faction codexes, and spin-offs such as Aristeia!, a competitive board game set in the same narrative arena, focused on champion duels.

Despite this longevity and a loyal niche community in the wargaming scene, Infinity had never had an official video game adaptation. This absence is what makes Infinity: HexaDome Tactics particularly notable: it is the very first transposition of the tabletop game onto PC, brought to life by publisher JF Games.

The franchise's influence remains above all confined to the world of tabletop wargaming, where it is often cited alongside Warhammer 40K as a reference for fine tactical rules and a militarized cyberpunk universe. Its move into video games could broaden its audience to tactical players used to XCOM or Into the Breach, with no direct connection to the miniatures.
