About Castlevania: Belmont's Curse
Castlevania: Belmont's Curse is a 2D action-platformer developed by Evil Empire and Motion Twin, and published by Konami. Set in 1499, the game is a direct sequel to Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse and Curse of Darkness - players take on the role of Rose Belmont, Trevor's daughter, who lands in a Paris in flames to hunt demons.
The gameplay blends Metroidvania exploration, Soulslike-inspired combat, and a whip mechanic akin to a physical grappling hook. Seven weapon families, tarot cards as magical abilities, and real stat and skill progression: the package is dense.
This is the first true Castlevania game in 12 years, developed not in-house at Konami but entrusted to Evil Empire - the same team behind the Dead Cells and The Rogue Prince of Persia DLCs. Target audience: fans of the classic series and enthusiasts of demanding 2D action-platformers.
