Echo Weaver

Echo Weaver puts the player in the shoes of the last Weaver, trapped in a time loop that is crumbling apart. The goal: understand, memorize, optimize - until finding the perfect loop that breaks the cycle. No classic upgrades to unlock, no stats to grind. Progression relies entirely on the knowledge accumulated between each reset.

The game embraces itself as a "Metroidbrainia", a subgenre popularized by Outer Wilds: it's what you know, not what you've picked up, that unlocks new areas and possibilities. An alien glaive with time manipulation powers serves as the central tool, to be gradually mastered through repetition.

Developed by Moonlight Kids and published by Akupara Games, Echo Weaver clearly targets players used to exploring systematically, those who found what they were looking for in Ori and the Blind Forest or Outer Wilds.
