Castlevania: Grimoire of Souls

A mobile installment of the series, Grimoire of Souls brings together Alucard, Simon Belmont, Maria Renard and Shanoa in a two-dimensional action-platformer built for short sessions, where levels are replayed to upgrade equipment.

Its history has been chaotic: released in September 2019 on iOS and Android, but only in Canada, it was delisted a year later, before returning on September 17, 2021 as an Apple Arcade exclusive, with reworked graphics and no microtransactions whatsoever. Konami announced its removal from the store on August 20, 2026 and the permanent shutdown of its service on September 3, 2026: entirely dependent on its servers, the game will then become unplayable, even for those who already had access to it.
