About Baldur's Gate 3
Baldur's Gate 3 invites the player to step into the Forgotten Realms, as an illithid parasite has nested in their skull and threatens to transform them into a mind flayer. This starting point serves as the backdrop for a sprawling campaign, inspired by the rules of Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition, with visible dice rolls, branching dialogue, and a multitude of possible choices. Solo or in online or couch co-op, players form a party of adventurers from numerous races and classes, and together discover open maps where almost anything can be attempted: infiltration, diplomacy, or total chaos. At the heart of Larian Studios's DNA, every player choice has a tangible resonance on the story, the companions, and how Faerûn will remember your character.
