REMATCH x Blue Lock Crossover: Release Date & Details
In brief
Sloclap finally makes official the collaboration between REMATCH and Blue Lock, which the community has been demanding since the game's launch. The crossover kicks off on September 24 with four playable characters: Isagi, Bachira, Nagi, and Itoshi. An opportunity to discover how Blue Lock's individualistic universe adapts to REMATCH's team philosophy.
Ever since REMATCH was revealed, one question kept coming up again and again in the comments and on social media: when will Blue Lock hit the pitch? Sloclap has just answered that. The collaboration between its football game and the manga/anime phenomenon is now official, with a launch date set for September 24th.
The demand had been building for a while. The studio itself acknowledges this through its creative director Pierre Tarno:
Ever since the very first moment we revealed REMATCH, the community hasn't stopped asking us to bring Blue Lock onto our pitch.

A crossover that's been requested pretty much since day one, which partly explains the excitement around the announcement rather than any real element of surprise.

The teaser gives us a first look at the playable characters: Yoichi Isagi, Meguru Bachira, Seishiro Nagi and Rin Itoshi. Enough to satisfy fans of the anime, known for its almost obsessive take on individualism on the field - a theme Tarno cheekily flips by reminding us that in REMATCH:
Even the biggest egoists will need their teammates to succeed.

Specific content, which game mode is involved, possible price: nothing has been detailed yet beyond the teaser. REMATCH is available on PS5, Xbox Series and PC via Steam.
