Ravenswatch: What content for the free « Songs of Thieves » update?
In brief
Ravenswatch is receiving its free "Songs of Thieves" update, available on all platforms. This new version introduces a fearsome enemy faction (the Thieves), secret rooms filled with resources and traps, as well as several new gameplay mechanics enriching the cooperative roguelike experience.
The cooperative roguelike Ravenswatch is getting a free update going by the sweet name of Songs of Thieves, now available on PC, PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch. The patch introduces a brand new enemy faction, the Thieves, who will significantly change the pace of runs, with attack patterns whose potential is much more devious, but also a marked taste for loot.
But that's not all, as the update also brings Thieves' Stashes, rooms generated within the levels: rooms packed with resources or lined with traps, hearts, cursed chambers or mirror rooms with more or less potent effects... each imposing a different risk/reward ratio. Another notable addition, Magic Harps, true keys to succeeding in the session's runs, provided you trigger them at the right moment.
Another new feature: Stingy Jack, an opponent obsessed with your loot who comes to throw a wrench in your works on every run. This patch offers a multiplayer pause, an option requested for ages, as well as a series of fixes and improvements based on your feedback. An update that strengthens the game, without costing a single cent!
