Pokémon Champions Update 1.0.3: Essential Fixes for a Smoother Experience

On April 22, 2026, following scheduled maintenance, v1.0.3 of Pokémon Champions arrived, just released on April 8 on Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android. This first free update was especially anticipated, since the game is based on the VGC of the 2026 World Championships and mainly aims to fix the bugs that had slowed down players' momentum.

Among the main fixes, notably the update to the previously incorrect explanations regarding the move Leech Seed, and the correction of the genders of Pokémon that had been mistranslated in the tutorial. No more frustrating lockups: it is no longer possible to select a move after hovering over Mega Evolution and pressing the B button. Unnerve now works properly against Berry-eating Pokémon despite their ability, and items affecting the Speed stat do indeed influence the order in which Abilities activate.
