With this new regulation, everything is turned upside down: your rank is reset, a new Battle Pass makes its appearance with brand-new rewards, and the metagame is entirely rethought on the basis of a massive influx of new Pokémon.
The main stake of the update becomes, at first, the highly anticipated introduction of Mega Raichu X and Mega Raichu Y, finally equipped with revealed abilities and, in our view, significant enough to shake up team builds. Both forms round out an already sizeable roster of 23 Mega Evolutions from Pokémon Legends: Z-A, for a total of about a hundred newcomers, including other Megas and classic Pokémon.
