Palworld 1.0: What's new with this major update?

Palworld will leave Early Access on July 10, 2026 with its 1.0 version, which promises to be far more substantial than most games launched this year. Bucky, the publishing lead, announced around 27 pages of changes, a volume so large that even formatting it became a challenge.

What are the concrete new additions?

The main new feature is the opening of the World Tree, an area visible since launch but until now inaccessible. This isn't just a cosmetic addition, but a genuine expansion of the map. As for the Pals, several brand-new creatures will make their appearance, including Dupin, already showcased, alongside at least five other creatures already teased. For competition enthusiasts, version 1.0 will also introduce a structured PvP mode, which was not available until now.

What you get to keep

Pocketpair has confirmed that there will be no save wipe. Current worlds will remain accessible after the update: this was a concern raised by the community that needed a quick clarification.
