Palia is about to receive its biggest expansion to date: Royal Highlands, which will go live on May 12 on all platforms. This major update introduces a massive new adventure zone, the Royal Highlands, where you'll be able to ride a horse for the first time, as well as a brand-new movement system that shakes up exploration habits.
On your own plot, a few houses inspired by the Ancient Humans bring a chic architectural style, not to mention the option to add a third floor to boost creativity. Clothing dyes are also getting an upgrade, allowing better aesthetic control over your appearance. On the content side, the promise of new quests, Renaissance potato pods, a new Jack Cat plushie, additional eye customization options, and many other surprises await you.
To celebrate 10 million players worldwide, an event has launched now and will run until May 11: log in, complete daily quests to unlock exclusive decor, plushies, a nameplate, and even two free premium outfits! Singularity 6 is going all out for this festive community event, and a "Palia Path" video already teases it all quite nicely. Cosy MMO fans just need to be patient for a few more days until mid-May.
