Neverness to Everness: The content of the 1.1 “Dreamwalk Corridor” update
In brief
Neverness to Everness receives its first major update, "Dreamwalk Corridor", which adds a new act centered on the mysterious dream corridor dimension. On the menu: two new zones (Sunward Island and Corridor of Echoes), two highly anticipated playable characters (Lacrimosa and Chaos), as well as overall performance and balancing optimizations.
The first major update to Neverness to Everness, named “Dreamwalk Corridor”, marks a new act in this free-to-play supernatural urban action game, with a brand-new episode focused on the mysterious dimension of the dream corridor. With the rollout of a series of scripted quests, the game expands its lore while connecting the real world to dreamscapes.
On the exploration front, it first involves the discovery of two new areas, among them Sunward Island, a luminous yet haunting archipelago of temporal anomalies, and the Corridor of Echoes, an unstable labyrinth whose layout shifts according to battles. These new environments allow the designers to introduce new types of enemies and challenges geared toward the late game.
But the update is above all an opportunity to introduce two highly anticipated playable characters to the game: Lacrimosa (Attribute: Chaos, Compatible Arc: Liquid), a fighter focused on area and sustained damage, and Chaos (Attribute: Lakshana, Compatible Arc: Condensate), more geared toward burst damage and aggressive mobility.
The patch also globally reworks the gameplay experience with performance optimizations, balance adjustments to several existing Arcs, and improved open-world navigation. Numerous fixes for intermittent bugs round things out, further strengthening the title's stability across all platforms, given that it is about to become available on Steam, Epic Games Store, Galaxy Store, and even GeForce NOW.
