Fortnite: the Springfield Reloaded update under the microscope
In brief
On July 30, Fortnite is rolling out Springfield Reloaded, the highly anticipated return of The Simpsons map. On July 30, Fortnite is rolling out its latest Chapter 7 Season 3 update - and it brings the Springfield Reloaded map, the much-anticipated return of The Simpsons collab since it was teased back in June. That's clearly the centerpiece of this patch.
What's really changing for players
The Springfield Reloaded map runs up to 50 players, with the 9 original POIs plus a mystery location yet to be revealed. Epic is also adding a new Tactical Assault Rifle to the Simpsons loot pool, which should shake up mid-range combat in Reload. Worth keeping an eye on from your very first matches.

For competitive players, the John Wick Battle Pass quests are also arriving in this patch - they unlock an additional style for the John Wick skin, so you'll need to prioritize them if you want to farm your cosmetic before the season ends.

New cosmetics and Sprays
On the side content front: brand-new Sprays are making their entrance (Peely, Llama, Gem, Quack, and potentially John Wick and Spider-Man - still unconfirmed). The Spider-Man: Brand New Day collaboration brings skins to the Item Shop as well as the Spider-Man Web-Shooters, a mobility item that's bound to come up in competitive discussions.
