Clash Royale KHAOS Season: all the new features - heroes, evolution, modes and competitions
In brief
Clash Royale's KHAOS Season arrives with two explosive heroines, an Elite Barbarians evolution, and an avalanche of chaotic modes orchestrated by Ken. Between fierce competitions, limited tokens, and weekly events, the game promises an absolutely wild month of August.
Vikings, bears and a good dose of C.H.A.O.S: the new season of Clash Royale, KHAOS, promises to turn the arena upside down. Between two new heroes, a brand-new evolution and a flood of modes and events orchestrated by the famous Ken, here's everything that awaits you.
Two new heroes
The season introduces two colorful heroines.
The Valkyrie Hero, equipped with the Human Tornado ability, has undergone the intensive training of the Golden Knight. Once her hero ability is activated, she turns into a slashing whirlwind that ravages all nearby enemies - but watch out: she remains vulnerable while spinning. You can unlock her by upgrading your Pass Royale or by spending Hero Coins from the start of the season.
The Berserker Hero, meanwhile, awakens the bear sleeping within you. Her Survival Savagery ability unleashes her fury: her attack speed skyrockets and she becomes downright unbeatable for a few seconds. Her unlock comes with a dedicated event, "Unleash the Beast", which will start with Ken's C.H.A.O.S Draft League.

A new evolution: elite barbarians
On the cards side, it's the Elite Barbarians Evolution making their entrance. Every few seconds, they hurl rage-bladed spears at distant enemies, clearing the way for their allies. Good news: you'll be able to get them for free at Ken's shop... at least in theory.
Game modes under the sign of C.H.A.O.S
Every week, a new variant of the C.H.A.O.S mode spices up the season:
- Triple Draft C.H.A.O.S: from August 17 to September 7
- Epic C.H.A.O.S: from August 17 to 24
- Sudden Death C.H.A.O.S: from August 24 to 31
- Unlimited Elixir C.H.A.O.S: from August 31 to September 7
You'll also be able to set up your own custom draft tournaments for C.H.A.O.S to challenge your friends.

Competitive league and world tournament
Two competitive events will punctuate the month of August. Ken's C.H.A.O.S Draft League (from August 3 to 17) offers a version of the mode revisited by the creator himself: earn a league badge after 15 wins.
For the more ambitious, Ken's Mega Draft C.H.A.O.S (from August 24 to 29) serves as a world tournament. Up for grabs: an exclusive badge and, for players in the top 10,000, a ranking badge.
Ken's shop and K.H.A.O.S tokens
Ken didn't just bring his good mood: the season also introduces K.H.A.O.S tokens and Ken's shop. These tokens are a limited-time currency, to be collected through events, the shop and contests. Does the shop seem completely unbalanced to you? Rest assured: everything is working exactly as planned...
Also: Merge Tactics
Finally, note that Merge Tactics season 11 will begin on September 1st. Something to extend the fun once the C.H.A.O.S has settled down.
