The Title Update 1.1.11 for Assassin’s Creed Shadows is scheduled for today, Tuesday, June 16, and closes out the game’s content cycle. Ubisoft highlights three major additions: a new free story quest called Black Tides, a new endgame activity called Domains, and two new crossover Projects in the Animus HUB, Riptides and Undertow.

Black Tides continues the narrative events with the arrival in the country of two elite Templars, the Black Cross, sent to hunt down Naoe and Yasuke; access to this quest requires having completed the game's main story, as well as two post-launch quests. Meanwhile, Domains introduces an Animus activity designed for build crafting with 5 simulations spread across 10 difficulty levels, which unlocks at level 30, and allows players to receive new sets, weapons, trinkets and engravings via a dedicated shop run by MOD and a specific progression tree.

The new Riptides and Undertow projects, meanwhile, add themed rewards and cosmetics, outfits, weapons and accessories, to progression through the Anomalies. Ubisoft specifies that this crossover content will not be available on Nintendo Switch 2. The update also comes in several download sizes depending on the platform, notably including a significantly larger patch on Xbox and PC.
