Trailmark Games and Bamtang Games lift the veil on Warrior Cats: Clans of the Forest with an announcement video that sets the scene: a turn-based RPG tailored for fans of the literary saga, with real attention to visual detail on the pelts and the forest territories.

The trailer strings together shots of the four playable Clans - ThunderClan, RiverClan, ShadowClan and WindClan - each with a distinct visual atmosphere. We see prey-hunting sequences, clashes between rival warriors, and a glimpse of the customization system for the pelt, eyes and markings of the player-created cat. The video also lingers on iconic locations of the universe, such as the Moonpool, sketching out the mystical tone tied to StarClan.

Compared to what we knew so far of the license in video games - rather low-key, with no major recent console project - this announcement trailer stands as the first real AAA-ish showcase for the universe.
