Trailmark Games unveils the Release Date Trailer for The Walking Dead: Streets of Survival, a survivalist beat 'em up that finally delivers real gameplay with combos, finishers and clashes against hordes. Rick, Daryl and Michonne are at the helm to clear out zones and face off against bosses like Winslow, with release set for September 18 on PS5, Xbox Series, Switch 2, Switch and PC.

Trailmark Games has released the Release Date Trailer that sets the mood for The Walking Dead: Streets of Survival, a survivalist beat 'em up. Gone are the vague teasers: this time, we see pure gameplay, combos that hit hard, and above all the familiar faces of Rick, Daryl, and Michonne in the heat of action.

The video lingers on clashes against hordes of walkers, with this "zone clearing" system that seems to be the core of the gameplay. We also catch glimpses of boss fights, notably a preview of Winslow the Well Walker, who apparently gets his own thoroughly grim scripted sequence. The settings traveled through - the Sanctuary, Hilltop, Alexandria - go by with a few destructible environment effects that give a bit more substance to the action than one might have feared for a licensed beat 'em up.

Compared to the first images unveiled when the game was announced, where the focus was mainly on character design and static artwork, this new trailer marks a real leap: we finally move from concept to a demonstration of concrete mechanics, with finishers and signature attacks clearly visible for each character.

That said, the video doesn't linger on Negan or the Saviors in combat, even though the narrative pitch relies heavily on the "All Out War" arc. A curious choice just weeks before release, set for September 18th on PS5, Xbox Series, Switch 2, Switch, and PC (Steam). For launch details and available editions, see our dedicated article.
