Meat Grinder: Hotdog Simulator unveils bloody PS1-core trailer

Ultimate Games has released footage for Meat Grinder: Hotdog Simulator, and the trailer fully embraces its unlikely concept: running a hot dog stand by day, facing horror by night. The retro PS1-style art direction is obvious from the first seconds, with dripping textures and angular models to back it up.

The video alternates between pure simulation sequences (preparing hot dogs, managing the shop, serving customers) and much grittier shots: dark corridors, threatening silhouettes, blood splatters that clash with the goofy humor displayed elsewhere. We also catch glimpses of open-world exploration, suggesting the stand is just a base between two horror excursions.

A confident mix of absurd simulation, grotesque humor and gore atmosphere, carried by a deliberately dated visual style that should appeal to nostalgics of PS1 survival-horror games.
