Microsoft opens pre-orders for the XBOX Series X25 limited edition today, Thursday, August 27, 2026, at 2:00 pm UTC — 4:00 pm CEST, 7:00 am PDT. Two channels: the XBOX website and participating retailers, while stocks last, across a selection of markets.

The European price remains unknown. Microsoft has only published the US price, $899.99: the xbox.com listing still reads "COMING SOON", with purchase blocks still showing placeholder text ("XXX €"). The euro amount will drop at launch. Limit of one bundle per customer, shipping on November 13, 2026.

What's in the bundle

The translucent green console, individually engraved and numbered, the special edition XBOX X25 wireless controller, and a full digital download of Halo: Campaign Evolved — already released in late July, and already on Game Pass.

The controller alone launches on October 20: the European Microsoft Store lists it at €79.99, already out of stock. A preview ahead of the 2:00 pm UTC opening.
