In brief

The Binding of Isaac: Repentance+ Online finally lands on consoles on November 19 with four-player online co-op, a first for home systems. The complete version brings together ten years of content: Rebirth, its four expansions, and every rebalancing update accumulated along the way.

Nicalis has set November 19 as the release date for The Binding of Isaac: Repentance+ Online on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2. This is the first time that four-player online co-op has come to console: until now, it was PC-only.

What's in the package

The console version bundles the entire series: Rebirth and its four expansions — Afterbirth, Afterbirth+, Repentance and Repentance+. That's every character, every item, every path and every ending, plus the rebalancing accumulated over ten years of updates.

  • Physical copies: Switch 2 only.
  • Digital copies: Switch 2, PS5 and Xbox Series.
  • No original Switch version has been announced.

In the meantime

Nicalis has not yet announced a price, nor specified which languages will be included on console — the PC version does have a French option in its settings. Edmund McMillen mentioned back in July that the complete collection would be ported to next-gen consoles without giving a date; that has now happened. The creator is also working on Mewgenics, and has no Isaac sequel in the works.
