Starsand Island: full release date on PS5, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC

Starsand Island will leave Early Access on August 18 on PS5, Xbox Series, Switch 2 and PC (Steam, Microsoft Store). The game had until now been available in early access on Xbox Series and PC since last February - the full release therefore marks the arrival on PlayStation and Switch 2, in addition to version 1.0.

On the physical side, boxed editions won't follow immediately: they're set for November 12, on PS5 and Switch 2, at €39.99 each. Pre-orders are already open. No collector's edition has been announced for now, just the standard digital and boxed versions.

Between now and August 18, there's no major unknown to clear up: Seed Sparkle Lab has released its release date trailer (see our dedicated article) laying out the new features of version 1.0. So that's three months of waiting between the digital launch and the physical version, for players who prefer the boxed copy.
