In brief

Infection Free Zone is arriving on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on August 27, 2026, published by Ultimate Games S.A. This unique survival city-builder rebuilds your real city in real time using OpenStreetMap data, turning Paris, Dijon or any town into a post-apocalyptic playground.

Infection Free Zone arrives on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on Thursday, August 27, 2026. Ultimate Games S.A. is handling these ports of the survival city-builder from Jutsu Games, a Polish studio.

Its pitch fits in one line: the map is your city. You type in a town name, the game downloads OpenStreetMap data and rebuilds the terrain — streets, buildings, waterways, elevation. Survivors settle into the real center of Paris or Dijon. You already know where the supermarkets were and which streets are easiest to barricade.

The rest is standard colony management: shelters, farms, power plants, walls and towers, then nighttime defense against the infected. On PC, the game launched on April 11, 2024 and remains in early access, priced at €24.99 on Games Operators. Its Steam ratings are "very positive": around 80% favorable reviews out of more than 18,500, verified on August 26.

Two unknowns remain. The press release doesn't specify whether the console version will launch in early access or as a final release. And the console price hasn't been announced: the French Microsoft Store lists it at €29.99, while the PlayStation price is still to be confirmed. The game is translated into French.
