Hunting Simulator 3 releases on October 29, 2026 with its SimFauna

NACON and NACON Studio Ghent have dated Hunting Simulator 3 for October 29, 2026 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC, with a dedicated trailer. The French publisher's hunting series claims more than a million players across its previous instalments.

What the third instalment adds

The headline addition is called SimFauna. Developed in-house on Unreal Engine 5, it's an ecosystem that lives independently of the player: animals breed, grow and age, and every kill weighs on the population of the area. A system that promises to refresh sessions rather than scattering targets at random.

The rest of the announced content: two open areas of 100 km² each, in Colorado and Texas, five licensed off-road vehicles (Ford, Kawasaki, Polaris), more than 35 species, several dog breeds with distinct behaviours, and nearly 75 weapons and pieces of equipment reproduced after real brands — Remington, Beretta, Winchester, Browning.

The Steam page is live, with the game rated 16 and up and announced with French text. No special edition or pre-order bonus has been detailed so far. Worth noting, NACON is holding a conference dedicated to its racing games on August 21: Hunting Simulator 3 is not expected there.
